Starring Joan Collins and Linda Evans at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall April 24-29. A comedy by Tony Award-winning author, James Kirkwood (author of A Chorus Line), centers on two somewhat desperate and waning movie stars named Sylvia (played by Collins) and Leatrice (played by Evans). Both actresses are courted by an unscrupulous young producer to star together in a Broadway show, despite the fact that they have hated each other for decades. Shows are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 pm; Friday at 8 pm; Saturday at 2 and 8 pm; and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 pm. The musical with a great big exclamation mark plays at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre April 19 through June 9, 2007. The Tony nominated Swing! celebrates the music and dance phenomenon that swept the nation in the 30's and 40's. With the resurgence of dance shows, dance has again become one of the fastest growing trends across the country. Performances are Wednesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. A comic adaptation from Moliere's classic plays at the Florida Repertory Theatre in downtown Fort Myers beginning Friday, April 20. Wily servants outsmart their masters while young lovers are kept apart by their parents. This irreverent adaptation of Moliere's "Les Fourberies deScapin" is performed by the Florida Rep ensemble and runs through June 9. ¦ Woyzeck
Florida Gulf Coast University presents "Woyzeck" by Georg Buchner. Students perform the German dramatist and writer's prophetic drama of existential emptiness from the 1830's. The show is directed by FGCU Associate Professor Barry Cavin and runs through April 22. Shows are at 8 pm Wednesday through Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday at the Black Box Theater in the Arts Complex at FGCU.

A play by Craig Pospisil, winner of the 2005-06 new play contest, runs at Theatre Conspiracy begins Thursday, April 19 and runs through May 5. A modern day story inspired by Anton Chekov's "The Cherry Orchard." Fading Actress and matriarch Laura Robertson must come to terms with reality or risk losing everything. The Gulfshore Playhouse presents its second full-scale production at the Cambier Park Bandshell on April 19-22.
