Publix donates to Lee YMCA

Publix Super Market Charities, Inc. presented YMCA of Lee County with an $11,500 donation to provide sponsorships for children who want and need YMCA programs but cannot afford them.

YMCA of Lee County serves more than 3,000 youth each year in after school, youth sports, swimming, dance, gymnastics, summer day camp and holiday camps. Approximately 30 percent of those participants receive full or partial scholarships through donors like Publix. At YMCA of Lee County, no one is denied services because of inability to pay.
