Punta Rassa Boat Ramp temporarily closed

On Monday, July 9 the Punta Rassa Boat Ramp temporarily closed to the public. The move was made to complete the renovations and expansion of the parking area as well as to create a safety buffer for demolition of the drawbridge. This closure is expected to continue for three months. No traffic will be permitted in the parking area during this time. Boaters are advised to use other boat ramps while this work takes place.

Improvements to the Punta Rassa boat ramp include reconfiguring the parking area to add 65 new spaces for boat trailers and a new fish cleaning station.
