Sally Long has joined the Lee County Port Authority as manager of purchasing. She is responsible for directing all Port Authority purchasing activities for Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field General Aviation Airport. Long came to the Port Authority with an extensive 20-year background in governmental procurement and purchasing experience. Most recently, she was the contracts manager for the city of Fort Myers and prior to that she was the director of purchasing at the state's G. Pierce Wood Hospital.
