Hospital holding volunteer recruitment fair

Lee Memorial Health System will host a Volunteer Recruitment Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lee Memorial Hospital and Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center.

Those attending the fair will find out first-hand what's involved in being an LMHS volunteer. Tours of the hospitals will be conducted to allow people to see exactly what volunteers do as they perform their duties at the information desks, gift shops, in nursing units and the Emergency Department, as couriers, trolley drivers and more.

"There are so many people who have time on their hands and an interest in giving back to the community," says Donna Bradish, Director of Volunteer Resources at Lee Memorial Hospital. "Many of them have worked for decades and have wonderful skills and talents. We want to match their interests with our needs. It's a win-win situation for everyone."

Anyone who signs up to volunteer that day will receive a free LMHS volunteer uniform, and a chance to win prizes. If you go
