YMCA of Lee County has appointed Mary Scott child care director. Scott has more than 30 years of child care experience and 18 years of YMCA experience. She spent the last 17 years working at the YMCA of York and York County, Penn. where she managed a child care program that included full-day child care, schoolage child care, part-day preschool, and before and after school care. Her budget responsibility exceeded $1 million. At the time of her hiring, Scott received her Master of Education degree with an emphasis in early childhood education from Pennsylvania State University.
