Scott A. Edmonds, President and CEO of

Chico's FAS, Inc., was announced as Chairperson of the 2007-08 United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades campaign. As volunteer Campaign Chair, Edmonds will oversee the efforts of more than 1,500 volunteers as they work to meet this year's fundraising goal of $7.2 million. Edmond's affiliation with United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades goes back eight years when he first ran the first United Way workplace campaign at Chico's. Each year he's gotten a little more involved with United Way until this year when he agreed to take on the lead role for the 2007 campaign.
