The Lee County Port Authority has promoted Coleen Baker to director of general aviation at Page Field General Aviation Airport . She is responsible for managing a staff of 34 and for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the entire airport, including the operation of the Aviation Center. Baker also adds valuable input and oversight on all construction and planning projects at Page Field in addition to working with the business development department to lease available airport property. She began her career in the aviation industry in 1983 as a parking plaza cashier at Charlotte- Douglas International Airport. In 1986, she joined the Jacksonville Port Authority where she worked in the properties department for over 11 years. Baker was promoted to senior manager in 2003.
