The Lutgert Companies' Azure at Bonita Bay wins awards

The Lutgert Companies development was named in the 17th Annual Sand Dollar Awards, sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Collier Building Industry Association. Azure was named high-rise community of the year, and Model Residence. Azure, the fourth luxury high-rise developed by at Bonita Bay, opened last fall.

The Lutgert Companies won two awards 2602 took top honors in its product-design category for Azure at Bonita Bay in the 17th Annual Sand Dollar Awards, sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Collier Building Industry Association. Azure was named high-rise community of the year, and Model Residence.

Azure, the fourth luxury high-rise developed by The Lutgert Companies at Bonita Bay, opened last fall. The 26-story building, with 69 homes and eight adjoining carriage homes, is the first Bonita Bay high-rise with a rooftop sunset terrace, which offers unobstructed views of Estero Bay, Bonita Beach, the Gulf of Mexico and the Bonita Bay community. Azure's residents enjoy a clubroom with bar, card and billiards rooms, 11-seat theater, fitness center, two suites for overnight guests and a landscaped outdoor recreation area with heated pool, whirlpool and screened cabana with fireplace and bar.

Azure Model Residence 2602, on the top residential floor of the high-rise, has a private elevator lobby, great room, dining and family rooms, a spacious master suite and two guest suites, as well as two open-air balconies and a screened terrace with a summer kitchen complete with gas grill. Interior designer Collins & DuPont enhanced the home's walls of windows and sliding glass to emphasize the views. The home has been sold but is open for viewing through February 2008.

The Sand Dollar Awards recognize excellence in building, development, landscape and interior design, advertising, marketing and sales. Twenty-one building industry professionals from outside the area judged 268 entries in 78 categories in this year's competition.

Azure at Bonita Bay also was recognized earlier this year during the Southeast Building Conference in Orlando. Its landscape and pool design earned an Aurora Award, and Model Residence 2602 won two Gold Excel Awards for the best home plan and best interior merchandising.

Azure at Bonita Bay is sold out, but sales are under way for Esperia South, which will open this fall; Tavira, where construction will begin this fall; and Esperia North, the seventh Lutgert Companies' high-rise at Bonita Bay.

Bonita Bay was included among Golf Magazine Living's 50 Best Golf Communities for 2006, Travel + Leisure Golf's top 100 golf communities in America in 2006, LINKS Magazine's 2006-07 list of America's 100 Premier Properties and Golf Connoisseur's 2007 list of the top 40 golf communities in America.
