Bonita Bay collects two Sand Dollars

The high-rises at Bonita Bay are designed for maximum privacy and views, and spacious, varied floor plans offer flexible interiors.
Bonita Bay won two awards in the 17th Annual Sand Dollar Awards, sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Collier Building Industry Association. Bonita Bay High Lights was named best newsletter, and the printed piece "Looking Up to Your Neighbors" took bestdirect mail-promotion honors.

High Lights provides news, resident profiles and other information about the high-rises at Bonita Bay and is produced for residents of the 2,400-acre community, prospects and area Realtors. "Looking Up to Your Neighbors" was mailed to Bonita Bay residents to share information about the high-rise lifestyle, the exclusive amenities of the buildings and details about the high-rise residences.

The Sand Dollar Awards recognize excellence in building, development, landscape and interior design, advertising, marketing and sales. Twenty-one building industry professionals from outside the area judged 268 entries in 78 categories in this year's competition.

The first residents moved into Bonita Bay in 1986. The master-planned community includes single-family homes, villas and carriage homes, but current new home sales are exclusively luxury high-rise condominiums being developed by The Lutgert Companies along Estero Bay. A total of eight high-rises are planned. The fifth, Esperia South, will open this fall, construction will begin soon on the sixth, Tavira, and sales are under way for the seventh, Esperia North.

The high-rises are designed for maximum privacy and views, and spacious, varied floor plans offer flexible interiors. The high-rises provide a carefree lifestyle with electroniccontrolled access, designer-furnished, staffed lobbies and managers in residence, allowing residents to lock up and travel worry-free. All high-rises feature access-controlled parking garages, resort-style pools and spas, sunning decks, pool cabanas with wet bars and grills, state-of-the-art fitness centers, designer-fin- ished club rooms with bars and catering kitchens, community intranets, suites for overnight guests and even trash chutes that electronically sort refuse and recyclables. High-rise homes are offered from the $800,000s to more than $2 million.

Bonita Bay, an Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence recipient, is the flagship community of Bonita Bay Group.
