European Design, LLC has leased 3,772 square feet of space in the Alico Commerce Center, located at 7800 Drew Circle in Fort Myers, from Carroll Partnership LLP. Bob Johnston, Jerry Messonnier and Derek Bornhorst, all of CB Richard Ellis, Ft. Myers- Naples represented the Landlord, and Tiffany Martin of VIP Commercial represented the Tenant.

American General Financial Services, Inc. has leased 1,116 square feet of retail space in the Tower Plaza Shopping Center, located at 3650-3666 Tamiami Trail North in Naples, from Commercial Trust Real Estate Services Land Trust. Larry Foster, Bill Young, Glenda Fortune, and Dan O'Berski, all of CB Richard Ellis, Ft. Myers-Naples brokered the transaction.

One was for the Unity General Distributors project, a cabinet and furniture products distribution center located off Metro Parkway in Fort Myers.

Rent Your Clubs, Inc leased 1,780 square feet at 11220 Metro Pkwy., Fort Myers, Metro Commerce Center from Metro Commerce Center, LLC., John Kremski negotiated the transaction.

La Ascension, Inc. leased 1,120 square feet at 6700 Winkler Rd., FM from Craig A. & Patricia A. Mayer, Kevin Rosenthal negotiated the transaction.

Boros Brothers Builders, LLC & Robert & Zsolt Boros leased 2,160 square feet at The Metro Commerce Park Condo from Elite Electrical Investments, LLC. John Kremski negotiated the transaction.

Construction

Stevens Construction has completed construction of the Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa. The 7,500-square-foot facility is located in the Parker Commons office complex off Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers.

The building will house Dr. Patrick Flaharty's facial cosmetic surgery practice and medical spa, with three additional suites available for sale or lease.

The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, and includes six exam rooms, six treatment rooms, nurses' stations and office space. The building also has a pilates/ yoga room and a conference area to host monthly seminars.

The Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa is located near Interstate 75 and the Southwest Florida International Airport. Sheeley Architects Inc. provided the design.

Marty McClain was project manager, Janet Edwards was project administrator, and Jeff Kless was Superintendent.

Brooks & Freund, a commercial and residential construction firm serving Southwest Florida, received two awards from the Lee Building Industry Association at the second annual Summit Awards event. The company was honored with Commercial Contractors Project Awards for best industrial/metal building and best mid-rise project.

For Best Industrial/Metal Building Project, Brooks & Freund received a Summit Award for the Unity General Distributors project, a cabinet and furniture products distribution center located off Metro Parkway in Fort Myers. The two-story front half is used for office space, while the remainder of the building is one story with a vaulted ceiling and is used for warehouse space. The project was completed in six months.

Brooks & Freund also received a Summit Award for Best Mid-Rise Project for construction of the single-family casita homes and townhomes in Paseo, a 444-acre gated community located in Fort Myers. Brooks & Freund is building 123 buildings total in the Paseo community. All of the town homes and casitas feature tile roofs and are constructed with impact glass windows and poured concrete construction.
