Bernier directs new Off Broadway Palm play

Paul Bernier has been part of the Prather Entertainment Group for almost seventeen years. Currently, Paul is the Artistic Director for The Off Broadway Palm (Broadway Palm's smaller venue located in the same building). His most recent project has been to assemble the shows for the new season in The Off Broadway Palm and cast the actors. Paul directed the first show of the season, "Funny, You Don't Look Like a Grandmother," which plays now through December 22. He recently directed Broadway Palm's smash hit, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change."

"Funny, You Don't Look Like a Grandmother" is an ingratiating musical comedy that was adapted from the 1989 bestseller of the same name by Lois Wyse. She is also a prolific author, editor, marketing expert and advertising executive who created the immortal slogan, "With a name like Smuckers it has to be good."

"Funny, You Don't Look Like a Grandmother" watches three grandmothers making the transition from granny glasses and Red Cross Shoes to the world of laptops, cell phones and kick boxing. Whether you are a grandparent, a parent or a grandchild, every generation will love this show.
