"Drive to Hawaii" golf tourney aids cancer victims

The Mercedes Benz of Fort Myers Lee Memorial Health System Foundation Golf Tournament "Drive to Hawaii" will be held Monday, Nov. 11 at Verandah Golf Club's Old Orange Course. The event benefits Lee Cancer Care - helping those in our community who are suffering with cancer. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the shotgun starts is at 9.

This year, the low net two-person team from this golf tournament wins a trip to Hawaii to represent Mercedes-Benz of Fort Myers at the Mercedes-Benz Championship taking place at Kapalua's Plantation Course. The $200 entry fee gets golfers the tournament round on Verandah Golf Club's Old Orange Course; a great shoe bag and hat from Callaway, breakfast, and lunch after the tournament.

The trip includes round-trip airfare to Hawaii, ground transfers, five nights accommodations at Sheraton Maui Kaanapali,

two rounds of golf at Kaanapali Golf Resort and tickets to the PGA Tour's Mercedes Benz Championship with passes to exclusive tournament hospitality events and functions.
