Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida announced that Mark L. Morris, president and chief executive officer, has recently been appointed as Chair of the 2008 Heart Ball. The Heart Ball will be held on May 10 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. The annual event benefits the Lee County Division of the American Heart Association, a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovas- cular diseases and stroke. Morris has been active with the agency for years.
