Local musician featured on Weather Channel

Music by Derek Harris, a local professional jazz saxophonist, will be featured on the Weather Channel's Local on the 8's segment. With his recently released CD, Amalgamation, Harris' cross-over style music can be heard internationally throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Featuring the tracks "More Than You Think" and "What About Me," Harris' music will begin playing on the nationally recognized channel this month.

"I'm extremely pleased to be featured on Local on the 8's," said Harris. "It's an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of Amalgamation on a bigger level."
