Eye Centers of Florida was recently named the top winner in a competition among area businesses which honors employee development and training.

The Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development recently selected the Eye Centers of Florida for its presti- gious 2007 Excellence in Employee Development Award. The award is given annually to a company or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to helping employees develop skills through continued training and education.

Susan Anderson, corporate trainer for the Eye Centers of Florida, and Dr. David C. Brown, the Center's founder, accepted the award.
