Autism: Dealing with misunderstood behaviors

Leading Autism author, lecturer, and advocate, Susan Golubock, will be speaking on Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Boy Scouts of America auditorium (1801 Boy Scout Drive) in Ft. Myers.

Golubock, owner of Making Sense of Autism, Inc., and contributing author of Women From Another Planet?: Our Lives in the Universe of Autism, regularly appears before groups of parents, teachers, and therapists. She will be addressing the issues of stimming, self-abuse, aggression and meltdowns. She will explain what does and doesn't help. Attendance is free.
