| McCormack Architect, Inc. president Carlos Urzola has been appointed by Lee County Commissioner Brian Bigelow to serve as a member of the Hispanic Affairs advisory board. As a member-at-large, Urzola will work with colleagues to identify, evaluate and report to Lee County Commissioners about issues unique to the Lee County Hispanic community. Urzola is one of twelve community members that make up the advisory board. His term runs through October 31, 2009. Urzola has been a resident of Lee County for five years, moving to Southwest Florida from the Chicago area. He is a native of Cartagena, Colombia. He is active in the Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Florida Southwest chapter of American Institute of Architects. |
