If you have been coveting the $11,850 Tosca queen size bed in black saddle leather with nightstands in neo teak wood at the Casa Italia showroom in the International Design Center, now is your chance to save $7,350 on the ensemble.

Or, how about a classic French antique white canapé (settee) upholstered in Flore Ecru fabric, originally priced at $2,900 at Pierre Deux, Sample Sale priced at only $1,724. You can easily shave 70 percent off a Bolier Rosenau swirl mahogany dining table with four upholstered side chairs from the RJ Thomas showroom, listed at $10,509 and sale priced at only $2,995. These are just a couple of examples of the tremendous savings shoppers can take during the Sample Sale at the International Design Center on Friday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The IDC seldom holds a sale of this magnitude, so the 2008 Spring Sample Sale is a rare opportunity for those who desire to possess the utmost luxury, elegance, uniqueness and quality craftsmanship at the highest level in the design industry at bargain prices.

Consumers can take advantage of savings up to 70 percent off original prices, many well below cost, on designer quality furniture, accessories, fabrics, wall coverings, flooring, lighting, kitchen and bath products, art and much more. Delivery is available and often included in the sale priced items. Admission is $10 at the door and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Senior Friendship Centers, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality supportive services for seniors.

The IDC accommodates both design consultants and consumers in first floor showrooms, while second and third floors are "trade" floors only that cater to design consultants, although consumers are welcome to browse in order to become more acquainted with these showrooms' exclusive products. However, during this special Sample Sale event, the public may purchase from any showroom on all three floors.

As Southwest Florida's premier resource for design professionals and consumers, the IDC has 45 distinctive showrooms. For more information about the IDC, call (239) 390-5111 or visit www.IDCFL.com. The IDC is located on Corkscrew Road in Estero across from Miromar Outlets, I-75, exit 123.
