Doc Ford's to celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Celebrate the wearing of the green at Doc Ford's on Sanibel and meet best selling author, Randy Wayne White from 2 to 5 p.m. and again at 9 p.m. on March 17.

White will be signing copies of his novel, Black Widow, his 15th in the series of adventures of fictional marine biologist Doc Ford.

Immediately following the early book signing, enjoy the music of The Celtic Stew, who perform Irish music with an energetic bluegrass edge.

The celebration will also feature appetizers, entrees and tropical drinks from the Doc Ford's menu like Caribbean jerk nachos, shrimp sausage quesadillas, Achoate grilled grouper and the best mojitos on Sanibel. It wouldn't be St. Paddy's Day without green beer, corned beef and cabbage and Irish coffee.
