Museum to feature crime writer

The Southwest Florida Museum of History will host author James O. Born from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12 as part of its monthly program, Night at the Museum: an Author's Evening.

This evening includes light fare and refreshments, dessert by Mason's Bakery, a presentation by the featured author and a meet-and-greet book signing - all for $15.

Born, a career law enforcement officer, is the author of five police thrillers. His third novel, "Escape Clause," was the winner of the inaugural Florida Book Award for Best Novel in popular fiction.

Author Diane Ketchum will be the last author of the season on April 9. Ketcham, a Naples resident, has just published her first book, "The Vanishing A-List."
