River Blues Festival upcoming

The River Blues Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 6 at Centennial Park.

The annual event showcases nationally and internationally known blues bands. Entertainment will include Brenda B., The Mambo Brothers, Cracker Blues Band, Deb the Dynamics, and The Juice.

Presented by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Lee/Charlotte Chapter, the event serves as a major fundraiser for the Harry Chapin Food Bank, a local organization dedicated to providing food to needy families.

Admission is $5 for adults with children 10 and under admitted at no charge. Pets, umbrellas and coolers are not allowed.
