Army jazz band to visit Shell Point

The internationally acclaimed U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors Band will perform at Shell Point Retirement Community at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, April 14.

The band, founded in 1969, travels around the world, playing a variety of musical selections. Many types of music will be included in this concert such as Big Band, Latin, Swing, contemporary, Dixieland, and other popular tunes. Many patriotic songs will also be performed.

This performance is a free event, but seating is limited and tickets must be reserved in advance. Due to the high demand for this concert, only two tickets may be reserved and must be picked up in person from the Woodlands Service Desk at 14441 Woodsong Lane. Shell Point Retirement Community is a continuing care retirement community located in Fort Myers just off Summerlin Road, two miles before the Sanibel causeway.
