Big Cypress Market Place 75 percent leased
Basik Development LLC has leased 75 percent of the vendor spaces at Big Cypress Market Place, an upscale air-conditioned flea market and winery opening soon on the East Tamiami Trail.
"We are extremely excited to get the Market Place open," said Keith Basik, president of Basik Development. "It is going to be a unique and exciting place to shop, enjoy live entertainment and attend special events like antique and car shows."
Big Cypress Market Place will have more than 140 retail vendors and eight restaurants. It also features a Tiki bar and produce market; a winery offering domestic, international and custom-labeled wines; a two-story food arena with an entertainment stage and second-floor mezzanine; a sports lounge; and brick patios for outdoor dining. The interior will feature historic photos of Collier County, scenic dioramas painted by noted Naples artist Jerry Vallez, and a 330-foot-long photographic mural of the Everglades.
Merchants will sell jewelry, clothing, gifts, furniture, auto accessories, pottery, tools, toys, silk plants, party supplies, antiques, sporting goods and more. Services include real estate, hair styling, manicures and teeth whitening. Packaged food vendors will offer gourmet nuts, beef jerky, German pickles, chocolates and nutritional products.
Big Cypress Market Place is a Basik Development LLC project on U.S. 41 four miles east of Collier Boulevard (S.R. 951). Scheduled to open by summer, it will feature 90,000 square-feet under air for a 205-booth flea market, food arena, winery and 13,000-square-foot trade show area.
