  • It feels like a do-over of the best proportions for the team at Almond Palm Beach, who opened just a few months before a pandemic that would shake the world. Now, childhood friends and co-founders/owners Eric Lemonides and Jason Weiner (also Almond’s Executive Chef) along with co-owner Lee Felty are ready to serve Palm Beach the fabulous nightly specials that earned the talented team rave reviews throughout the Hamptons and Manhattan.

“We are back, and we are ready to serve!” said Lemoindes who shares guest seating is now available in the dining room as well as on the patio. Curbside pickup and delivery, including wine, will continue to be offered from 5 to 9 p.m. anywhere on the island or West Palm Beach.

With an artisanal, market-driven menu featuring updated takes on classic French cuisine, ethnic street food and much more, Almond Palm Beach is open daily for dinner. The team is consciously committed to source locally from friends and growers such as Kai-Kai Farm, Swank Specialty Produce, Hadaya Spice, Holman’s Harvest, Gratitude Garden Farm and Odd Produce.

Classic dishes include Steamed Black Mussels with Shallots and White Wine (16/32) and Roast Chicken with Hand-Crushed Potatoes and Natural Jus (31). Nightly specials range from Meatless Mondays to Roasted Whole Fish on Wednesdays/Saturdays and Rack of Lamb on Sundays. Tuesday nights, the “Plat du Jour” is Duck … a diner favorite. House-made desserts include Warm Sticky Toffee Date Cake (9) and Buttermilk Panna Cotta (9).

As conditions continue to improve, the team says to buckle up as they have plenty of exciting plans for their Palm Beach space including the incredible, spacious patio. Prepare to socially distance in style with a specialty cocktail or New York craft beer in hand at their spacious 20-seat bar. The extensive yet affordable wine list, handpicked by Lemonides, offers glasses or bottles from regions across Long Island, France and California.

“We’ve taken every precaution, and then some, to ensure our guests and staff utilize sanitation and social distancing measures above and beyond the requirements set by law,” added Felty.
